Improving previous ideas:
Analysing my previous work on the storyboard, I realised that the message I want to convey is not reflected via the storyline I have created. The story looks like the animation is about insomnia and struggling with it, which is not. I aim to create a feeling of loss and confusion. And to show this in my character's daily life. He is indeed struggling but during the whole day. I should make the animation, which store begins in the morning and ends in the night, from waking up till sleeping. It will translate my ideas more clear.
My character is lost in his life, in his routine, it is all like a mist. He can not realise himself in reality, he can not feel himself and accept his emotions. He is confused and stuck. And he wakes up every day and starts to overthink and analyse again and again. And he goes to bed, understanding, that tomorrow he will begin all over again.
So, the main message is:
Is it a day, is it night? Is it a dream, is it real? Is it death, is it life?
The idea has been transformed. The previous begging of the animation is no longer a beginning. I am going to combine different shortcuts, which aim to confuse the viewer. I want the viewer to ask himself all the time what is going on to translate the same feelings and states that my character feels.
